Getting started

Exactly what to expect.

The first call, what daily life looks like, how your children fit in, and everything you might be wondering, laid out plainly. No surprises.

The path in

Four steps, from first call to move-in.

  1. 1

    Reach out

Call or send the form. A real person, no waitlist.

  2. 2

    A real conversation

We learn what you and your children need, honestly.

  3. 3

    Come see the home

Tour the house, bring your kids, picture your family here.

  4. 4

    Move in

Settle in and begin. You are not doing this alone.

The first call

What happens when you reach out.

A real person answers, usually the same day. We listen first. You can share as much or as little as you want, and nothing you say is judged. We will answer your questions about cost, availability, your children, and timing, honestly. There is no obligation, and no pressure to decide anything on the call.

Daily life

What a day looks like.

A little structure is what makes a home feel safe. Here is the shape of daily life. We go over all of it with you before you move in, so nothing is a surprise.

  • Clear house guidelinesSimple, caring rules that keep the home safe and substance-free for everyone.
  • A supportive routineFAKE-WAITING: confirm specifics such as check-ins, chores, curfew, and meeting expectations.
  • A substance-free homeFAKE-WAITING: confirm the drug and alcohol testing policy.
  • Help staying on trackSupport getting to meetings, work, and appointments as you rebuild.

Your children

Your kids come with you.

Keeping your family together is the heart of what we do. Your children live here with you, in a safe, welcoming home, so recovery never means being apart from them.

FAKE-WAITING: confirm the specifics families ask about, for example children's ages accepted, how many children per resident, sleeping arrangements, and any help with school or daytime childcare.

Getting ready

What to bring.

Keep it simple. Your essentials, comfortable clothes, anything that helps you and your children feel at home, and any medications in their original containers. If you are not sure about something, just ask us on the call.

FAKE-WAITING: confirm a short "what to bring and what not to bring" list with Lindsey.

Medication & recovery support

However your recovery looks.

Recovery is not one-size-fits-all. If you are on medication such as Suboxone, methadone, or naltrexone, call us and we will talk through your situation and how we can support you.

FAKE-WAITING: confirm the home's medication-assisted treatment (MAT) policy so we can state it clearly here.

Ready when you are

The first step is just a conversation.

Call any time, or send a few details and a real person will call you back. No pressure, no obligation.
